Composed by English 16th c. carol. Arranged by Marion Maby. Christmas,Sacred,Standards. Score and parts. 3 pages. M. Maby, arr. #1791769. Published by M. Maby, arr. (A0.726671).

Here is a versatile arrangement of the popular Christmas carol. The first section is a straightforward musically interesting version with the violin taking the melody. Cello takes the melody for the second iteration. Third section starts with cello melody, violin counterpoint. Then there is modulation and variation with both parts intermingling. For a sing-along the first section is perfect. For a longer instrumental version, play the first and 2nd sections or the whole piece.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
