As recorded by the Maynard Ferguson Orchestra on "New Sounds of Maynard Ferguson," This Willie Maiden arrangement takes a great tune and puts it in an up-tempo swing setting. The chart has a bop-like melody performed as a duet by the alto saxophone and trumpet at the beginning, and then moves into the ensemble. There is a solo for alto saxophone, followed by a roaring shout chorus. There is some high trumpet work (a la Maynard), with optional lower notes included. As always, Willie gives us another incredible arrangement sure to be loved by all audiences! 5-4-4-3.
