Little song for Barber Choir (Barbershop music)
Words and Music by

JUAN CARLOS CORTÉS AGUIRRE.

It consists of a brief introduction, and two parts (Binary Form) in the key of C (C Major), ending with a Cadential Coda.
As is logical its main melody is sung by the "Lead", with the second high voice of the "Tenor".
The "Walking Bass" is the character of this little song.
In some cases it is melismatic and contrapuntal, even for the Baritone.
The second part has a choreographic option indicated for body motor skills according to the text, intended for the Barber Choir that wants to represent it histrionically.
Originally this is a school and children's song, composed in 1991, to develop the attention and gross motor skills of schoolchildren.
But it serves as a choral song for the personal and collective delight of the Barbería Choir singers.
It is intended for a very professional choir, as it is closer to the classical and academic choral style.

Text:

We are happy.
Little song for Barber Choir (Barbershop music)
Words and Music by JUAN CARLOS CORTÉS AGUIRRE.

We are happy, all very happy,
and we all want, sing with talent.
We are happy, all very happy,
and we all want, sing with talent.

Left Right, back forward,
up and down, a step forward.
Left Right, back forward,
up and down, a step forward
