Wave (music) is the first song from the eponymous 1967 album, composed by Antônio Carlos Jobim (Tom Jobim) and arranged by Claus Ogerman. An English version was recorded on November 11, 1969, and sung by Frank Sinatra on the 1971 album Sinatra & Company. Wave (album) is the fifth studio album by Brazilian musician Antônio Carlos Jobim in the style of bossa nova released in 1967 by A&M Records. Recorded in the United States with musicians from that country, it was ranked 114th on the Billboard 200 ranking, and was ranked fifth among jazz albums. Wave features some elite jazz players such as trombonists Urbie Green and Jimmy Cleveland, flutist Jerome Richardson and bassist Ron Carter. P.S. Alternative Tune.
