"Walkin' Down Vine Street" (Etude #12) is a Blues in G to be played with a medium swing feel.  Following a 5-measure introduction, there are six choruses of 12-bar Blues, followed by a 5-measure coda.  The left hand includes a "walking" bass line throughout the six Blues choruses, while the melodic line in the right hand is in the style of improvisations by hard-bop jazz pianists Wynton Kelly, Sonny Clark, and others from the early 1960s.  Careful attention should be paid to the phrase markings and articulations.
