Here is a wonderful, easy, swinging chart which is on the CD Shorty Rogers Courts the Count, a terrific big band tribute to Count Basie. This piece has a very delightful sound to it, and it's very easy for even the youngest bands to play. The pros will love it too! It features optional clarinet with trumpet on the melody (as played by Jimmy Giuffre and Shorty). Lots of solo space. 5-4-4-3.
