This concerto for baritone saxophone was commissioned by saxophonist Makoto Asari, who is a close friend of the composer. VONGOLE ! consists of three movements Spumante (Sparkling wine), Bianco (White) and Rosso (Red). It is a unique and welcome addition to the baritone saxophone repertoire.

Dit concert voor baritonsaxofoon is geschreven voor saxofonist Makoto Asari, een goede vriend van de componist. Vongole bestaat uit drie delen: ‘Spumante’ (mousserende wijn), ‘Bianco’ (witte) en ‘Rosso’ (rode). Het werk is een unieke en welkome aanvulling op het repertoire voor baritonsaxofoon.

Dieses Konzert für Baritonsaxophon wurde von dem Saxophonisten Makoto Asari in Auftrag gegeben, der mit dem Komponisten eng befreundet ist. Vongole besteht aus drei Sätzen Spumante (Schaumwein“), Bianco (Weißwein“) und Rosso (Rotwein“). Das Stück erweitert auf einzigartige und willkommene Art und Weise das Repertoire für Baritonsaxophon.

Ce concerto pour saxophone baryton fut commandé par le saxophoniste Makoto Asari, un ami proche du compositeur. Vongole ! est en trois mouvements : Spumante (vin blanc effervescent), Bianco (blanc) et Rosso (rouge). Un rajout unique et bienvenu dans le répertoire du saxophone baryton.
