Composed by Giacomo Carissimi. Arranged by John Ross. Baroque. 7 pages. John Ross #3451049. Published by John Ross (A0.741859).

Carissimi's "Vittoria, Vittoria!" is a favourite aria of singers and singing teachers, being one of the early Italian arias often used in vocal tuition. This arrangement adds a second soloist, providing a decorate balancing part to the original melodic line. Carissimi repeats his melodic line in the original aria. In this arrangement it is shared between both singers, so that each soloist has the chance to sing the main tune.
Creating a duet from a solo aria gives singers the chance to participate in some vocal chamber music and adds another dimension to their performance skills.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
