Published by David M Thompson (A0.901701).This is a set of variations for nine instruments--four woodwinds and five stringed instruments--on the old Medieval tune "L'homme armè." One of the strings--the viola--doubles on tambourine. Somewhat difficult, but can be done pretty readily with experienced musicians. (Much easier than the Piston Divertimento, which has the same instrumentation.) Conductor score and set of parts are included.
