Variations for Marimba (2005) is for advanced marimba soloist. It is essentially a "classical" set of variations on a theme, however the "theme" is elusive and evolves as the variations progress. Based on the compositional techniques of Bela Bartok, it is a profound tribute to the Hungarian composer and his work.
