Composed by Agustín Barrios "Mangoré". Arranged by Manuel Matarrita. Latin,World. Score. 13 pages. Manuel Matarrita #5311867. Published by Manuel Matarrita (A0.922222).

Originally composed in Costa Rica in 1939 for solo guitar, this extended theme and variations is based on a popular Costa Rican dance from the province of Guanacaste, known as the "Punto Guanacasteco". Barrios presented this work only once in concert at the National Theater in San Jose, Costa Rica on March 29, 1939. This adaptation for solo piano was made in 2015 by Costa Rican pianist Manuel Matarrita, following the same structure and without attempting any changes in its musical language or style.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
