By Maurice Durufle. By Antiphon For Maundy Thursday and Maurice Durufle. Arranged by Tim Thulson. Classical,Early Music,Religious,Sacred. Score and part. 9 pages. Tim Thulson #766799. Published by Tim Thulson (A0.1166426).

Ubi caritas for cello and piano, the antiphon for Maundy Thursday, after Maurice Duruflé's setting in Quatre Motets sur des thèmes grégoriens.

This arrangement gives the cello the Gregorian chant melody, while a deliberately-sparse piano accompaniment contributes Duruflé's harmonies and metering.

The PDF includes a piano score as well as a score for cello (showing the piano part in small print, so both players can coordinate phrasings more easily).

Easy cello range, in Eb, rated "intermediate" for the meter changes. Approx. 2 minutes in performance.
