Composed by Ray Thompson. Contemporary. 147 pages. RayThompsonMusic #3056477. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553549).

This is an original composition that was written for my band: The Alnwick Playhouse Concert Band.
The 4 Movements of my "Tyneside Songs Suite"  are all based on well known tunes (Geordie Songs) from the North East of England .
They are:

Mvt 1: March (in 2/4) : Lambton Worm / Wor Nannies a Mazor

Mvt 2: Tranquillo : Cushie Butterfield

Mvt 3: Allegro : Bobbie Shaftoe

Mvt 4: March (& Fugue) (in 6/8) Blaydon Races (The Geordie Anthem)

I composed this piece after playing in, and directing the Second Suite in F by Gustav Holst.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
