Composed by Camille Saint-Saens. Arranged by Jean-Louis Couturier. A Cappella,Christmas,Easter,Romantic Period,Sacred. 11 pages. Gordon Cherry #5214095. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792650).

Saint Saens composed several settings of Ave Maria. This version is for a cappella chorus from about 1860. Tollite Hostias (Bring Forth Your Offerings) is an anthem and comes from the final chorus of his Christmas Oratorio from 1858.

Jean-Louis Couturier has arranged these two lovely works for Brass Quartet. They will work for Christmas or Easter and can be performed by intermediate + performers, as the technical demands are quite modest.

Instrumentation is for 2 Trumpets in B-flat, Horn (substitute Trombone part) and Trombone or Euphonium.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
