Each fanfare can be played as a separate piece. One suggestion for performance would be to have Fanfare I announce the beginning of a concert or recital and then use Fanfare II to announce the second half of the concert, following intermission. Individual parts are included. The audio sample is a recording of Fanfare I, performed at Christ Church Cathedral in St. Louis, MO.
