Composed by Gabriel Ruiz-Bernal and poem by Emily Dickinson (Public Domain). Classical. Score. 8 pages. Gabriel Ruiz-Bernal #768046. Published by Gabriel Ruiz-Bernal (A0.1167680).

"Two Butterflies" is a light, airy and ethereal waltz for soprano and piano that describes the flight of the two butterflies described in the poem by Emily Dickinson.  The soprano part is sensual and fun to sing, with melodic phraes and leaps that displays the flexibility of the voice.  The piano part is elaborate but not difficult to play.  This is a very effective recital piece, which tends to receive great reception from the audience.
"Two Butterflies" is part of the song cycle "Across the Wide.  Songs of Farewell" composed by Gabriel Ruiz-Bernal.
