An anthem styled song that is featured in the musical "The American Civil War". This piece is based on the true life of Albert Cashier, an Irish-born immigrant who served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. Cashier adopted the identity of a man before enlisting, and maintained it for most of the remainder of her life. She became famous as one of a number of women soldiers who served as men during the Civil War.  Scored for Woman Solo, SSA, and Piano accompaniment.  Accessible and appropriate for any school or concert setting.  An accompaniment track is also available.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
