Truckin'! lets students bring the noisy highway to life in this jazzy and attitude-filled new piece. Features especially rich teaching material here- including polyphonic and homophonic textures, syncopated rhythms and edgy harmonic language. Students will want to play it again and again, reveling in their fun and flattering individual parts. Audiences will come away tapping their feet and humming the melodies after the rousing and striking climax.

About C.L. Barnhouse Command Series

The Barnhouse Command Series includes works at grade levels 2, 2.5, and 3. This series is designed for middle school and junior high school bands, as well as high school bands of smaller instrumentation or limited experience.
