This is an overture for beginning to intermediate level bands. It can be played by students at the end of their 1st year of study, or at the beginning of the 2nd year. It can be played by bands of various instrumentation and still sound full and professional. It was designed to teach overture form to young students. My students had fun playing their parts since all instruments were featured at various times throughout the piece.
