Here is a more colorful arrangement for oboe, clarinet, and bassoon. The solo lines of the original oboe 1 part are equally shared between the oboe and clarinet, creating more sonic interest for the listener and more playing interest for both instrumentalists. The lower range of the bassoon also allows for a more expansive range of pitch and color.
The Trio in F Major is a substantial, 4 movement, classical work approximately 15 minutes in length. It makes for a great recital piece as a whole. Individual movements are also quite appropriate as background chamber music for parties, receptions, brunches, etc.
