Published by Hovig Nassanian (A0.1000422).This is a short piano piece that I wrote back in 1985, as a young teenager growing up in the country of Lebanon during the civil war. Initially, the piece was performed as a vocal/piano number and sung in Armenian. Over the years, it has been sung and played on various occasions. It's suitable for piano players of intermediate level and is ideal to be performed as a solo at the end of a concert. The music is calm with deep overtones and constantly changing chords and harmonies.
Earlier this year, during one of the Covid-19 lockdowns in our country, I used the opportunity of being home to record a piano album, Peaceful. 'Tonight' is one of the songs on this album. You can find it on all online music platforms.
