SATB choir, organ - Medium/Medium Difficult

SKU: PL.0424

Composed by Peter Pindar Stearns. Cathedral. Choral, General. Octavo. Paraclete Press #0424. Published by Paraclete Press (PL.0424).

Stearns' energetic setting of this 15th century text provides a great match of choral and organ textures. This anthem would be an ideal work to start off the fall choir season. In the words of the composer, "I am responding to the text- always the text and what it illicits from my 60 year old reservoir of musical ideas. These many sacred choral works of mine are simply my response to the text I have chosen, combined with a long lifetime of prayer.".
