Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q19855).„Tinnitus-Trio – Szene mit Beethoven beschäftigt sich auf hintersinnig-parodistische Weise mit der Frage, wie Beethoven trotz seiner Taubheit seine späten Werke schrieb. Laut Überlieferung ließ er die Beine seines Flügels abmontieren, um die Schwingungen direkt auf den Boden zu übertragen und über den Körper zu spüren. Auch bei Hillers origineller Komposition, die Klangfetzen aus Beethovens Klaviersonaten op.31 bis op.111 fragmentarisch einstreut, wäre eine Ausführung mit einem Flügel mit abgeschraubten Beinen denkbar, doch ist dies nicht obligatorisch gefordert.
