Great selection (first position with extensions)
Once you master the first position with extensions, you will find challenging and charming pieces in this book. The selection ranges from old music to modern 'classical' pieces. As an adult beginner, I love the clear lay out without childish pictures or whatsoever. Also nice without piano accompaniment.
