Composed by Traditional Irish. Arranged by Nigel Williams. Celtic,Holiday,Irish,Sacred,Standards. Score. 2 pages. Nigel Williams #2845243. Published by Nigel Williams (A0.763242).

Londonderry Air is also sung to the Gospel hymn He Looked Beyond My Faults. These delightful meditations for organ on the traditional Irish tune 'Slane' can be played individually or as a set. The second variation artfully combines two familiar Irish melodies ('Slane' and 'O Danny Boy'). The third variation has an optional pedal part which can be played by the left hand. These meditations are ideal when a short piece of music is required within a service, they also make excellent teaching material for the younger organist. The performance duration is four minutes. An extended set of five variations by the same composer was commissioned in 2009 by Professor Marilyn Mason and is widely available, (volume 7 of the Marilyn Mason Organ Library).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
