By Maxwell. By Kate Bush. Arranged by Hannah Wickham. Contemporary. Octavo. 6 pages. Hannah Wickham #6596735. Published by Hannah Wickham (A0.871490).

This is a beautiful song that has been featured on TV shows like the Handmaid's Tale and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's originally from She's Having A Baby, and is about childbirth, so would suit an event like a Christening or Naming Ceremony very well, but is also just a great song to add to your repertoire.

Crunchy chords make this a great piece for practising tuning, and long legato notes are useful to work on tone. There's also a large variation in dynamics, so your choir can work on following your directions. Larger ranges will stretch and challenge your singers.

Approx performance time: 4:10
Difficulty: Intermediate
Clean?: Yes
Range: S1 Eb4-Ab6, S2 Eb4-F5, A1 C4-Bb5 A2 F3-Ab5
