THIS IS THE DAY (A Wedding Song) is written by American singer and songwriter Scott Wesley Brown. This song was released in 1979 in his album "One Step Closer" under the Sparrow label. Basically a wedding song, "This Is The Day" draws its inspiration from the Bible - Psalm 118-24 - "This is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it." (from the New American Standard Bible 1995).

This is an instrumental arrangement for String Quartet, with a full score and individual parts for each instrument - first and second violins, viola, and cello. It requires intermediate to advanced playing ablity.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
