This arrangement of "This Is Halloween" from The Nightmare Before Christmas is perfect for the beginning bassist. The melody is abridged to avoid tricky modulations and has been transposed to the more manageable key of A minor. The bass part can be played entirely in 1st and half positions with the exception of one pivot at the very end. The piano accompaniment sparsely doubles the melody and includes a fun glissando at the end. Thoughtful bowings and dynamics have been included throughout. This makes an excellent addition to your fall/holiday repertoire!
The PDF download contains both a full score and a set of individual parts - Bass and Piano. The bass part has been formatted on a single page to avoid any page turns.
