By Charlie Byrd. By Lorenz Hart and Richard Rodgers. Arranged by David Lee Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 3 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #641629. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1036626).

"There's a Small Hotel" is a 1936 song composed by Richard Rodgers, with lyrics by Lorenz Hart. Originally written for but dropped from the musical Billy Rose's Jumbo (1935), it was used in On Your Toes (1936), where it was introduced by Ray Bolger and Doris Carson. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. It sounds great "as-written", but feel free to "make it your own"!

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
