Theme and variations in D minor is a very interesting piano piece for early intermediate and intermediate students as well as for teachers. The piece begins with a very simple theme that is developed through 9 variations in which the students will make use of sustained notes, staccato, arpeggios played by each hand, scales and chords...All that in one piece and using a progressive development.
