The Three Towers is an attractive suite about three historical monuments that still adorn the old ramparts of the Suisse town of Fribourg. The three towers are depicted in as many contrasting movements, with solo passages featuring in thesecond movement. Together they form a concert piece, accessible for the lower divisions, which is interesting for the audience as well as the musicians.
The Three Towers is een aantrekkelijke suite waarin drie historische monumenten centraal staan. Drie torens die nog steeds de oude wallen van de Zwitserse stad Fribourg sieren. Samen worden ze verklankt in verschillende contrasterende delen,waarbij solopassages het tweede deel vormen. Gezamenlijk vormen ze een fraai concertwerk, toegankelijk voor de lagere divisies en interessant voor zowel het publiek als de muzikanten.
The Three Towers ist eine attraktive Suite über drei historische Bauwerke, die heute noch die alten Stadtmauer von Freiburg in der Schweiz schmücken. Die drei Türme werden in ebenso vielen kontrastiven Sätzen beschrieben, wovon der zweiteSolopassagen bereithält. Zusammen bilden sie ein Konzertwerk, das für die unteren Divisionen zugänglich und dabei gleichermaßen interessant für das Publikum wie für die Musiker ist.
The Three Towers est une suite attirante sur trois monuments historiques qui ornent toujours les vieux remparts de la ville suisse de Fribourg. Les trois tours sont représentées dans autant de mouvements, avec des passages solos dans ledeuxième mouvement. Ensemble ils forment une pièce de concert la portée des divisions inférieures qui est intéressante aussi bien pour les musiciens que le public.

Le tre torri sono raffigurate in altrettanti movimenti contrastanti, con passaggi solisti che si sviluppano nel secondo movimento. Insieme formano un brano da concerto, accessibile, interessante sia per il pubblico che per i musicisti.
