Published by Elijah Hubler (A0.996578).This is an advanced arrangement of The Star Spangled Banner which I arranged with a certain rhythmic motif introducing the arrangement and bringing that same motif back in the middle and end of the piece. I arranged it to sound much different than the typical vocal performances I've been exposed to, which seem to carry many of the same characteristics and embellishments across the board.
For the longest time, I disliked this anthem, due to how I often heard it, but after singing it in four-part harmony with some friends I realized that it was actually a good piece that had a lot of potential if I ever wanted to arrange it. The next year I did just that, and I hope this offers an alternative concept of how this anthem can sound compared with the normal way it seems to be performed.
