Star is a homeless child on the streets of Bethlehem, and she (or He)bears this name because her street show is the means by which she earns enough money to eat. Elated that the census is bringing larger crowds of people to town, Star faces a dilemma when she meets a young couple unable to find lodging for the night. Should Star share her sacred place behind an inn at Bethlehem? Before the music concludes, Star discovers the real star of Bethlehem-Jesus, the newborn Messiah. High energy music and easy-to-learn speaking parts combine to make this a delightful experience for young choristers. Duration is approximately 45 minutes.
