Composed by Oscar Hammerstein and Richard Rodgers. Arranged by Kevin Frecker. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Standards. Octavo. 12 pages. Kevin Frecker #775080. Published by Kevin Frecker (A0.1174966).

This arrangement of the title song of the musical The Sound of Music is set for 3 equal voice parts with harp accompaniment and violin obligato. While the harp part was written specifically for that instrument, it can also be played on the piano. The violin-harp duet at the beginning uses the melody of the introduction of the song from the original Broadway score. This references the orchestral introduction from the 1965 movie version that leads into Julie Andrew's famous performance of the song.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
