Good Resource
I was looking for a book of Stephen Foster's works to use for various projects I'm working on. I chose this one because it had all the songs I was interested in. There is a biography included in the book which I found interesting. The book is a good reference, but I wish there had been comments about each of the songs included.

buyer beware
If you play the piano for fun and want some Stephen Foster songs, this is not for you. It is very ackward to read. Look at the sample songs (a couple of lines down into the music) there is the melody, music to accompany voice, and then the bass. I got lucky and found an old 1954 hard backbook with his music in it and it is wonderful.
