As far as I know composed by O'Carolan. It is a slowish tune and it is not to be confused with the song by the same name. Listen to the mp3 if you want to hear it. the tune has been arranged in E-flat major, but it has a minor feel about it. This tune is in a slow 3 time and the song is in a 4 time. I don't know how they ended up having the same name but in Irish music this happens all the time. I have arranged it for harp but it can be played on the piano as well. In that case one would need to adjust the fingering. The key makes it special but I can change the key for you on demand.
