The first half of the arrangement is in the first and second octave range, then at measure 39 the 1st flute takes the tune into the third octave with shimmering 8th note harmonies in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th flutes. This is an ideal repertoire choice for performance at any time during the year and especially around St Andrew's Day (30th November).
