Published by ISFS Productions (A0.1049083).Few songs can say they were immortalized by a singing frog. “The Rainbow Connection,” first sung by Kermit the Frog in The Muppet Movie, is such a song. Having grown up watching the Muppets in various iterations, I knew their signature song was one I needed to arrange for piano. It was one of my earlier arrangements, and I’m thrilled to finally be able to share it. This is a late intermediate piano solo appropriate for recitals or other performances. The song begins in G major and has one key change to A flat major with a handful of accidentals in the climax. There are a few four-note octave chords in the right hand. The song is 8 pages long with a playing time of around 4 minutes.
