Composed by Paul Nagle. Arranged by Paul Nagle. Celtic,Comedy,Folk,Irish. 14 pages. Paul Nagle #773856. Published by Paul Nagle (A0.1173707).

This  Brass Quintet honors the Pooka,  the imaginary ( ? ) creature best known as a giant rabbit in the movie "Harvey".  The Pooka is actually from Irish folklore along with Leprechauns and other creatures best seen after imbibing several drinks,  and can be either large or small depending on the amount you drink.
In this depiction the Pooka announces himself as a lively 3-note melody in the 1st trumpet.  This theme is then interspersed with other jocular tunes featuring all the other instruments. This gives us a picture of a carefree, happy-go-lucky fellow.  The Pooka Polka should liven up any concert.
