It depicts one rising from the calm, sparse mesopelagic layer (the Twilight Zone) to the life-saturated epipelagic layer (the Sunlight Zone). Upon reaching the ocean's surface, a wave of awesome propotions is encountered...
This 5-minute work for piano is perfect for both intermediate and advanced players. Inspire yourself and your audience with music reminiscent of Debussy which celebrates the ocean! This work is easily accessible, and features various sections of the orchestra, and various players, who are always supported by other instruments.
