Composed by Ted Lucas. Blues,Children,Instructional,Jazz,Pop. Score. 5 pages. Tuxedo Music Publishing #2018837. Published by Tuxedo Music Publishing (A0.881359).

Students love to play this mysterious rag! Written in a style reminiscent of the slow rags of Scott Joplin, "The Mystery Rag" features syncopation in the right hand and the usual march-like figures in the right hand, several accidentals and a variety of dynamics. It ends on a "mystery chord" that requires a major seventh in the right hand and a very low D in the left. Hear a short version of it by clicking the audio button. This piece is probably best left for the end your student recital, as it's a hard act to follow!

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
