This secondary theme from the soundtrack is a wonderful example of Goldsmith's use of harmony, underscoring the ethereal calmness of 'the light' with contrasting major/minor chords. Perfect as an alternative choice for a Hallowe'en concert, it features a lovely trio for cor anglais, bassoon and bass clarinet (all cross-cued for smaller ensembles).
