Highly Recommend with one caveat
The book contains creatively crafted piano arrangements of well known and lesser known Rutter choral works. One caveat: I’m guessing that British congregations will know most of of the tunes, but here “across the pond” (with the possible exception of high Episcopal congregations) it is not the case.

I LOVE this album!!
Just the quality and beauty you would expect from John Rutter. These pieces are arranged to sound amazingly like the choral arrangements and their piano accompaniments. Some are not as easy as others to play and edge toward advanced difficulty, but they are all beautiful. The most pleasant surprise is that Mr. Rutter (bless his merciful heart!) transitioned For the Beauty of the Earth from Bb - NOT into B as in the choral arrangement - but into C!!! And it sounds so natural. I LOVE this album!

Very good arrangements of Rutters music
These arrangements are very pianistic and just challenging enough to keep a professional musician interested. The selections are varied, more on the reflective than the uptempo side. I have the digital version: the layout is practical, the music a little crowded on the page, but still legible. Overall, a wonderful addition to the church pianists repertoire!
