Published by Liza Zumbrunnen (A0.1085894).The Gypsy Laddie, aka "The Raggle Taggle Gypsy" (Roud 1, Child 200), is a traditional folk song that originated as a Scottish border ballad. It is about a rich lady who runs off to join the gypsy laddie. When the player gets to the cantabile solo, they should really milk it. The words here sing, "I winna come wi you, my honey an' my hert, I winna come wi you, my dearie O, Till I drink the breest that I hae brown, An' that's in the Water o Eerie O." This trumpet duet can be played by any like instruments.
