Loose every band, set all prisoners free.
Dealing thy bread to the hungry and poor,
Undo their burdens and yoke them no more.
For then shall thy light break forth as the morn,
Thy generations, saints newly born.
Then shall thy righteousness go on before;
Behind thee all glory will be of the Lord.
Then shalt thou call and He will be there.
If thou shalt cry, thou shalt be in His care.
Then shalt thou rise from obscurity;
Even thy darkness shall be as noonday.
The Lord shall then guide continually.
Even in drought thy soul shall be free.
Like a spring flowing, thy waters won't fail,
If thou shalt remember the cross and the nail.
Then shall thy people build and restore,
Living in Zion to go out no more,
Raising foundations to last for all time,
Honoring Jesus with actions sublime.
The places of old shall shine ever bright,
Breaches repaired and paths brought to light:
