Composed by Tim Minchin. Arranged by Linda Dalgliesh. Contemporary. Score. 6 pages. Linda Dalgliesh #6118567. Published by Linda Dalgliesh (A0.803649).

Tim Minchin's rock ballad "The Absence of You" premiered on YouTube on 30 October 2020.  It will be released on the album Apart Together on 20 November 2020.

This arrangement is for piano and vocal, but will of course suit electric keyboard (and if you have an organ sound, use it for the third verse!)  The key is C.  The vocal part is written in treble clef, with a range of an octave and a sixth (written B3 to G5).  The piano part has some two-part writing in the right hand, i.e. some figures over sustained notes. The maximum  span for each hand is an octave. Total of six pages.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
