The song first appeared in the movie Walter Wanger's Vogues of 1938, which was actually released in 1937. Sung there by Virginia Verrill, it was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1937 but lost out to "Sweet Leilani". This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We added what we think are some pretty cool left-hand fills that we hope you will like! It's a fun song and not too hard to play!
