See the accompaniment beginning at m. 7.One approach to a successful performance might be to highlight the contrasts in the music. First, the melody and countermelody at the repeat to m. 7, should contrast in rhythm, articulation and tone color.The second melody beginning at m. 24 contrasts with m. 7 in key (minor to major) and articulation (staccato to legato). The bass line also provides a contrast with a new rhythm containing accents on the fourth beat of every other measure.Performance time is about two and a half minutes.
