Academics or Athletics? Who cares when the Three Stooges are on campus! Their wonderful 1938 Columbia short Violent Is the Word for Curly is also distinguished (if such a thing is possible!) by the inclusion of the musical number "Swingin' the Alphabet," originally composed and published by Septimus Winner in 1875 as "The Spelling Bee." So here we go: "B-A-bay/B-E-be/B-I-bicky-bi-B-O-bow/Bicky-bi-bow-B-U-boo/Bicky-bi-bow-boo."
