She extoles his virtues, acknowledges his flaws, isn't quite sure why she loves such a lout, but in the end succomes to her intense attraction to him. It is definitely inspired by a similarly titled song by the Beach Boys. Musically, it's a hybrid of classic 50s/60s and solid barbershop harmonies. A great contest vehicle for a brave ensemble. Donya Metzger has created some wonderful tracks for this fun novelty number.
